COUNTRYSIDE & VINEYARD TOUR
Visit Silves & Quinta dos Vales Winery.

Early departure from the hotel and drive to Silves, the first Arab capital of the Kingdom of the Algarve you will have free time to visit Silves Castle and Silves Cathedral, both built with the red stone characteristic of the area (entrancee fees not included). After this stop, we will wend our way through the Monchique mountains to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve,where you will have free time to take pictures and an opportunity to taste the most typical fire water of the region (the medronho). Then we descend towards Monchique village, to a viewing point, where you will have time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, proceed to Quinta dos Vales, an amazing Wine Estate, for a guided walking visit to the vineyards and cellars. Time to taste the excellent locally produced wines and to enjoy the taste of the delicious home-made bread along with the finest olive oil. A unique experience! Return to the hotels.
